Welcome Tabia!
This year we would like to welcome Tabia to our school. She is going to assist our English teachers with their work and our students with their English. We are very happy to have her with us and we are very much looking forward to many interesting lessons with her.
Here is how she introduces herself.
Hello! My name is Tabia and I am an English Teaching Assistant this year, living in Steyr and working both there and here in Weyer. Though I was born in Germany, I have lived in Oregon in the United States for the last 12 years. I studied anthropology at Reed College in Portland, Oregon for my Bachelors degree, where I wrote my thesis on the movement for Kashmiri independence from India.
I love reading, cooking and baking, and watching movies in my free time. I love Austria’s natural beauty and its local baked goods!
